Our Team

Dr. Courtney Beussink is really your hometown dentist. She was born and raised in Bollinger County and is currently raising her family here. She was valedictorian of her class at Leopold High School. She then attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was majoring in Chemistry and Accounting but was accepted into dental school a year early in 2006. She began at University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in August 2006 and graduated in May 2010 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

During dental school, Dr. Beussink stayed very busy.  She worked as a teacher’s aid in the restorative department and was selected to be in the perio honors program (only 6 per class).  She married Matt Beussink during her second year and right before her final year they had their first son, Thomas.  Dr. Beussink really enjoyed living in Kansas City and the atmosphere there, but her and Matt knew they didn’t want to raise their family there.  As soon as she graduated, they moved back home to Leopold, where they settled in and had two more sons, Jacob and Tony.  The first four years out of school Dr. Beussink practiced at a local health center and then bought Dr. Milde’s practice in the beginning of 2014.  At the beginning of 2017, Dr. Beussink moved her practice to a newly remodeled building across town and has settled in there.  She is very grateful for her wonderful staff and all the mentorship from Dr. Milde over the last several years and is very much looking forward to practicing throughout the rest of her career right where she is at!

Dr. Beussink doesn’t have much free time, but when she is away from the office she enjoys spending as much time with Matt and her boys as she can.  She loves family ranger rides, fishing trips, cooking, skiing, running and adventures out in the woods.  When the opportunity arises she loves taking her family away to see new places and try new things.  She has been very fortunate to enjoy several new places with her family while taking numerous continuing education courses.  She looks forward to watching her kids grow over the next several years and attend all of their activities.  Her family is her greatest blessing!

Dr. Beussink is amazed daily at the different people she has the opportunity to meet and have relationships with.  She loves dentistry, but she loves her patients more.  She feels extremely blessed to have the wonderful patients, staff and family that she has.  She hopes to serve her patients for many years to come in the most compassionate and respectful way she can as that is what they deserve.
